Why This Reference Exists
Texas provides access to many arrest, jail, court, and corrections records, but the sources do not all answer the same question. Fannin County holds local booking and release records. TDCJ operates the state offender search and maintains prison release or discharge information. Fannin Adult Probation and the TDCJ Parole Division handle different forms of supervision, while the federal Bureau of Prisons maintains its own locator. We organize these official paths, explain their limits, and identify the request steps needed when a public search is incomplete.
